Prop firms gain new trader acquisition tools as FPFX Tech acquires BullRush

FPFX Tech has acquired BullRush Entertainment, the company behind a gamified trading platform built around competitions and skill-based challenges. The deal brings new trader acquisition, engagement, and training tools directly into prop firm ecosystems, allowing firms to combine traditional evaluation models with competition-driven onboarding and community features.

Prop firms gain new ways to attract and onboard traders through gamified competitions

The acquisition of BullRush by FPFX Tech introduces a new layer of trader acquisition into prop trading infrastructure.

BullRush operates a gamified trading platform focused on:

  • Paid-entry trading competitions
  • Skill-based challenges
  • Simulated trading environments
  • Community engagement and leaderboards

Rather than relying solely on evaluation challenges, prop firms using FPFX technology will now be able to attract traders through competitive formats that feel closer to esports-style progression than traditional prop assessments.

BullRush CEO Trent Hoerr previously described the platform’s core model as competition-first, positioning paid tournaments and challenges as the product itself.

Gamification shifts from marketing tool to structured trader development

Under the integration, BullRush’s gamification engine will be embedded directly into FPFX Tech’s prop trading platform.

This includes:

  • Customizable competitions for recruitment and onboarding
  • Performance tracking and ranking systems
  • Progression-based trader challenges
  • Behavioral analytics tied to consistency and discipline

FPFX Tech CEO Justin Hertzberg said BullRush has built one of the most compelling gamified trading ecosystems in the market, helping prop firms stand out while improving retention and trader skill development.

Instead of pass-or-fail challenge funnels alone, firms can now guide traders through structured competitive environments before moving into funded programs.

Data-driven engagement aligns with the industry’s shift toward behavior and risk control

Beyond engagement, the combined FPFX–BullRush platform adds deeper insight into:

  • Trader behavior patterns
  • Performance progression
  • Consistency metrics
  • Long-term skill development

This reflects a broader shift in prop trading away from short-term evaluation success toward sustainable trader performance and risk-managed growth.

FPFX Tech also continues expanding its infrastructure footprint globally, including its new Cyprus office supporting European prop firms entering the funded trading space.

BullRush will continue operating during the integration, with further platform updates expected in the coming months.
